Click here for a sample screen-shot for "View Job Cost Summaries". Independent of Chart of Accounts. AdaptAccounts versions in recent years integrated Job Costing with the Chart of Accounts. Like many design approaches this has advantages and disadvantages. The advantages relate to schema simplicity and implementation simplicity in all tasks and procedures affected by Job Costing. The disadvantages relate to an enlarged Chart of Accounts and a more complex AccountID. The original AdaptAccounts versions supported Job Costing independently of the Chart of Accounts. This marks a return to our roots.
