Print General Ledger Journals

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

This task prints selected Journal Entries. You specify various restrictions and only transactions that meet your restrictions are selected. If you specify no restrictions then all transactions will be selected. Restrictions you specify are combined so that only transactions that meet all your restrictions are selected.

Although there are numerous options here, a common use is to simply print Journal Entries at some interval. For example, if you usually print these registers at the end of each week, then assuming today is Friday 4/23/2010 specify the From Origin Date as 4/17/2010 and the To Origin Date as 4/23/2010. This will select all transactions whose Origin Date is on or after last Saturday (4/17/2008) and on or before today.
