Navigation:  Using AdaptAccounts >     Main AdaptAccounts form

While running AdaptAccounts there is a small form at the upper left of the display. It is the main AdaptAccounts form and is always present. It provides overall control of AdaptAccounts and all its open forms. Minimizing this form minimizes your entire AdaptAccounts application and all its open forms.

 

Check File | Stay On Top to ensure this form is always visible.
Uncheck File | Stay On Top to allow it to be hidden by other AdaptAccounts forms.
 
Stay on Top is usually unchecked since all regular forms can directly activate the main AdaptAccounts form using their Main button or File | Main.

Choose File | Exit to exit from AdaptAccounts.

 

The Applications menu lists those installed applications that have any tasks available for the current User.

 

The Group menu lists those groups available to the current User within this Application.

Groups help you find a task quickly by grouping similar tasks together. They also provide a convenient way for the System Administrator to grant access rights. For example, a user could be granted rights to Inquiry and Report tasks but not to Transactions and Maintenance tasks.

Transaction tasks are focused on generating new transactions.

Maintenance tasks are all other tasks involved in editing tables.

Inquiry tasks support viewing information without editing or printing.

Report tasks focus on printing reports. Reports may be previewed on the screen before printing. Various Transaction and Maintenance tasks also provide report options.

 

The Task menu lists the tasks available within the Application and Group.

 

You can have more than one AdaptAccounts form open at the same time. Your currently open forms are displayed within the View | Active menu. You can switch to another open form by choosing it here. When no other forms are open this list is empty.
