One type of maintenance form is for maintaining various entities in the system such as Customers, Suppliers and Products etc. Changes made here are reflected in the underlying database tables as soon as the changes are committed.

 

Using the Customer maintenance form shown below as an example, these maintenance forms support adding new Customers, controlled deleting of fully inactive Customers and changing existing Customer information.

 

 

It is also possible to view all the records in the table using the Browse tab. The Browse sheet is a grid of all the fields in the underlying table. It is then possible for the user to change the sort order for the entire table.
