Dialog box
Dialog boxes are a common way to interact with the system. Whenever a dialog box appears you must complete it before continuing.
A dialog box can contain a number of items for your selection. In most cases default choices have been entered and you can simply accept them or change them.
A typical dialog box is shown below. When you are finished, choose OK to continue or Cancel to just quit. The selection criteria will be used to generate the data before opening the applicable form.
Report dialog box
Another use for dialog boxes is in the generation of Reports. The user is presented with a dialog box which asks for specific selection criteria. A typical Report dialog box is shown below.
